The Colonial Era Hill Fort is an iconic image from the stories of Beau Geste, Gunga Din, and Harry Flashman. Forts like these could be found in North Africa,  the Middle East, and the Northwest Frontier of India. These lonely outposts provided a stout defense for the brave troops who manned them. This model allows you to build such a fort with towers, a gatehouse and connecting walls. The parapets on the towers and walls can be constructed in three different ways from simple to complex. Note that unlike many PaperTerrain models this fort does NOT come with a destroyed version. The 10/12mm scale fort is 6 1/2” x 6 1/2”, the 15mm scale fort is 9 1/4” x 9 1/4”, the 20mm scale fort is 12 1/2” x 12 1/2”, and the 25/28mm scale fort is 15 1/2” x 15 1/2”.
