One of the most important elements of the Vauban Style of fortification was the bastion. Bastions are arrow-shaped structures that protrude out beyond the main walls to provide flanking fire against any force trying to attack the walls. Bastions often mounted artillery. This kit includes 4 bastions and connector pieces to allow them to connect to the city walls (sold separately). The kits are available in 10-12mm, 15mm, 20mm and 25-28mm scales. They are also available in either brick or stone finishes.
